Types of mixed cases
Not all mixed cases are the same. Each case potentially has a relevance to both the sender and the recipient. Some cases remind the receiver of good times during visits to South Africa, and these memories may be of specific wineries, or wine regions.
Other cases are chosen as they are relevant to the sender as they may live in that specific wine growing area or have visited the area or a specific winery.
Or it may simply be a question of taste and preference, or simply finding the right wines from your homeland
Other general wine gifts may be sent to simply celebrate Christmas and special occasions in the UK. People set budgets and the more general cases are about the budgets and the desire to spend specified amounts on a gift.
Event cases exist to celebrate a time of the year or a specific gathering or get-together and provide the potential wine list for the whole of the celebration.

Mystery Mix
Our least expensive option, incorporating great wines, at budget prices. These may be bin-ends or wines chosen to provide great value for money. As a gift they are ideal for buyers looking to send wines without the fuss.
Often these cases contain the odd expensive wine which may have run its course in the business and is being phased out. The contents are a mystery, they are not specified in the description, but these cases represent excellent value for money. This is our entry level case.
The only choices available are those relating to the colour of the wines. We know people often have strong colour preferences, so it is off-putting to be offered a total “mystery” case.

Standard Mixed Cases – The most popular option
This type of case is our biggest selling option. The six wines are chosen by us and specified on the website, so you know exactly what is being sent to you or your friends/family. These cases represent value for money as the whole is less expensive than the individual parts, and the choice normally reflects a diverse range of either red, white or mixed wines.

Regional Cases
Regional cases provide a reminder of holidays in specific areas of Australia, or an option for residents of these regions to show off their fantastic local wineries. On some occasions both of these reasons merge into one, as families have got together and visited local producers as part of a holiday.
